What is the BSF?
The Bookmakers Superannuation Fund (Fund) is a
public offer superannuation fund, being a regulated superannuation
fund under the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act (SIS Act)
that operates for the benefit of its members and their dependants.
It was set up to assist members save for retirement and, as such,
must comply with government regulations in the way it operates.
As a member of a regulated superannuation fund, you may receive
the benefits of the special tax treatment available for retirement
savings.
The Fund is open to employees of employers participating
in the Fund. It is also open to self employed individuals.
The Product
The Fund has two elements:
1) The Accumulation Fund for members who are still working and creating
wealth for their retirement.
2)The Allocated Pension Fund for members who have retired and are
in the draw down phase.

The People Running The Fund
Trustee
Equity Trustees Limited is a public company who is also an APRA
approved Trustee.
Equity Trustees was formed in 1888 and has a history of 116 years
and has $5 billion of assets under their trusteeship.
Promoter/Administrator
Super Promoters Pty Ltd is the promoter and administrator of the fund. Diversa, a company listed on the ASX, is the owner of Super Promoters Pty Ltd. The involvement of Diversa is an exciting step forward for BSF. The Directors of Diversa bring additional experience and breadth of skill across the superannuation administration and funds management sector.
Importantly, key members of Super Promoters Pty Ltd team remain with the fund – including the retention of BSF General Manager, Peter Hayes-Williams and his administration team. Peter Mueller also remains a non-executive Director of Super Promoters Pty Ltd. John Kennedy is retained on a consultancy basis.
Investment Manager
The Investment Manager of the fund is Joseph Palmer Financial Services Pty Ltd. The Principal is Malcolm Palmer. Joseph Palmer Financial Services Pty Ltd is the oldest family owned stockbroking firm on the ASX. Joseph Palmer Financial Services Pty Ltd holds an unrestricted Australian Financial Services Licence
