The Bookmakers Super Fund (Fund) was started in 1974 to provide a superannuation vehicle for bookmakers, their families and members of City Tattersalls Club.

The Fund changed from non-public offer status to public offer on 30 July 2004. This means that anyone can now join the Fund. Previously entry to the Fund was restricted.

The Promotion and Administration rights to the BSF were transferred in March 2009 to Diversa, an ASX listed company. The promotion and administration rights were combined under Super Promoters Pty Ltd.
